Community Learning Exchange
Last week, through organising with Senscot, we hosted our first-ever community learning exchange.
This was a coming together of service providers, from schools, CICs and charities, held to bring more awareness of what we offer, a taster of how it works, build connections and work out how we can better work ourselves into the community. It is important to build connections as it means we can offer more services through ourselves and others, helping more.
We took feedback at the end of the day, discovering that every guest felt this service was needed in the community, with value to help both beneficiaries and providers. People enjoyed the feeling of connection, taking time and would like to improve community access to us.
Also a massive thanks to Fiona at Grazers in Eyemouth for a wonderful locally produced lunch
