What

Free, fully accessible activity days for community members, run regularly throughout the year. Our craft programme runs alongside themed days marking events such as Mental Health Awareness Week and Refugee Week. Recent activities have included Community Football (in partnership with Nev), accessible sensory wellness sessions for families, women's groups, men's groups and Andy's Man Club gatherings. New activities are added in response to what the community asks for.

Why

Community Wellbeing Days are funded — meaning they are free at the point of access — making sure that the most vulnerable people in our area can benefit from our site, our team and our rescued horses regardless of cost. We work in partnership with local third sector organisations, local businesses, solo traders and community groups across the Borders and North Northumberland — because the local sector knows its own communities best, and good days come from local knowledge meeting our space and resources.

How

Run on advertised dates throughout the year. Funded through grants, partnerships and community giving — when funded, they happen, and they are always free at the point of access. Open to all community members; priority access for groups serving disabled people, ASN families, refugees, isolated older people, young carers and low-income families. Bookings via the ESR website or through our referral partners.
