Welcoming Amrita Mojumder: Our New Impact and Evaluation Placement Student

We’re thrilled to welcome Amrita Mojumder to Eat Sleep Ride as part of her extended placement from the University of Aberdeen’s Master of Public Health programme. Originally trained as a medical doctor in Bangladesh, Amrita brings a deep passion for inclusive, community-led health approaches and is working with us to evaluate the social impact of our equine-assisted learning and therapeutic programmes.
Amrita research focuses on how nature-based and horse-guided interventions can improve physical, emotional, and social wellbeing—particularly for children, young people, and adults facing trauma, neurodiversity, or rural isolation. Over the coming months, she’ll be gathering insight into the difference our programmes make, from confidence-building to community connection.
As a fresh set of eyes and a dedicated public health student, Amrita is helping us build an evidence base to guide future programme design, support funding applications, and strengthen our commitment to inclusive wellbeing.
💬 “It’s been inspiring to see how horses, nature, and compassion come together here to change lives. I feel honoured to contribute through research that supports Eat Sleep Ride’s vision.” – Amrita Mojumder
Stay tuned for updates on Amrita findings and the positive change her work will help create.
