Trustees Wanted – Join Eat Sleep Ride
Trustee Opportunities – Help Shape the Future of Eat Sleep Ride
Eat Sleep Ride is currently recruiting new trustees to join our board and support the next stage of development for our charity.
Located in the Scottish Borders, Eat Sleep Ride provides equine-based programmes, volunteering opportunities and nature-based learning experiences that support young people, families and communities. Our work focuses on wellbeing, confidence building, leadership development and creating inclusive opportunities for people who may face barriers in traditional settings.
Alongside our community programmes we are also developing innovative environmental initiatives, including projects exploring sustainable energy and biofuel from horse manure, community growing and land-based education.
We are looking for individuals who are interested in contributing their skills, experience and perspectives to help guide the organisation strategically. Trustees play an important role in ensuring strong governance, supporting the leadership team and helping the charity grow sustainably.
We would particularly welcome people with experience in areas such as:
-
Finance and accounting
-
Legal or governance
-
Fundraising and partnerships
-
Education or youth development
-
Marketing or communications
-
Business development
Previous trustee experience is not essential. We welcome applicants who are passionate about community impact and who want to support a growing rural charity making a difference.
Joining the board offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while helping shape the future of a unique organisation combining horses, nature and community.
If you are interested in helping shape the future of our charity, we would love to hear from you.
