Fire Horse & Elemental Sound Journey
Fire Horse Journey & Elemental Sound Bath
Outdoor Family Sound Therapy Event in the Scottish Borders
Eat Sleep Ride is delighted to welcome Lindsay Agnew of Gaia Sound Journeys for a unique 2-hour immersive sound and rhythm experience in our outdoor arena.
Inspired by the energy of the Fire Horse and the Four Elements – earth, water, air and fire – this event blends movement, mindful listening and sound bathing to support emotional regulation, calm and connection.
Session 1: Fire Horse Journey (40 minutes)
Suitable for younger children and families.
The session begins with horse-inspired movement, exploring the rhythms of walk, trot, canter and gallop to the beat of the drum. Participants notice how different rhythms feel in their bodies and emotions before settling into stillness, connecting with their heartbeat and breath.
Sounds of nature and instruments including Himalayan bowls, chimes, percussion and gentle gong are introduced, linked to the four elements. The session concludes with a 15-minute mini sound bath to support relaxation and integration.
A 10-minute break allows for new arrivals before the second session begins.
Session 2: Elemental Sound Journey (70 minutes)
Designed for older children and adolescents.
This session begins with grounding and mindful listening, followed by a guided relaxation inspired by the four elements to connect body, mind and emotion. Participants are then immersed in a 40-minute sound journey using Himalayan bowls, gentle gong, chimes and percussion, finishing with space for reflection or quiet sharing.
