Eat Sleep Ride's membership of the Equine Assisted Services Partnership (EASP) has been renewed, and our listing on the Human Equine Interaction Register (HEIR) approved for another year.
That means we carry the HEIR Approved kitemark, and anyone looking for equine assisted services can find us on the national register.
Why it matters
Equine assisted services are a growing and lightly regulated field. Anyone can say they work with horses and people. The register exists so that the organisations referring into this work — schools, social work teams, health services, funders — have a clear way of knowing who is working to a recognised standard.
For the young people, families and communities we work with, it means what happens at Quarry Farm is delivered to that standard, for the people and for the horses.
You can find us on the register at easp.co.uk.
