Our founder and Chief Executive, Danielle McKinnon, has been selected for The Breakthrough, an eight-week business accelerator run by Foundervine in partnership with Lloyds Banking Group.
The programme launched at Lloyds Banking Group in London on 28 September. Over the coming weeks, Danielle will join founders from across the UK for masterclasses, one-to-one mentoring and practical business support, finishing with a Showcase Day in London.
Danielle started Eat Sleep Ride in 2017 with one pony. Today it's an off-grid riding school and equine sanctuary on reclaimed land at Quarry Farm, supporting young people, families and community groups across the Borders, Lothians and Northumberland. The Breakthrough is a chance to strengthen the business behind that work, so our riding school, visitor experiences and Herd Dynamics leadership programmes can keep funding free and subsidised places for the people who need them most.
It's been a big few months for us. We've been named one of Small Business Saturday UK's Nation's Favourite Businesses, and we're finalists at both the South of Scotland Thistle Awards and the Scottish Borders Business Excellence Awards.
Thank you to Foundervine and Lloyds Banking Group for the opportunity. We'll share what we learn along the way.
